People have the possibility of skiing from November to May on the slopes of Mount Bakirli which extends at an altitude of 1900m. in Saklikent. Saklikent is a winter resort in Turkey, 45 km from Antalya and 60 km from Antalya Airport. Because of its proximity to Antalya, one can ski and then swim in the Mediterranean Sea.
There is one more Saklikent in the Antalya Region is the Saklikent Canyon which is the second longest canyon in Europe (14 km.) The canyon is lying between the cedar and pine forests of the national park.
Saklikent ski resort has one two-seater chairlift, and also one T-bar ski lift.
