Nymphaion is formed by five lines of niches arranged on top of one another with a height of 15m and width of 37m. The central niche is definitely larger than all and there is gate.
It is understood that aedicula ( a small building with a small roof which is placed on two columns in front of a wall ) style structures each formed from two columns were present between the niches.
The marble eaves on the niches are good evidence to this. Any of the statues could not be found which were expected to be placed inside the niches according to the tradition.
In front of it there is a large pool. With two canals from the aqueduct the water was brought to the fountain.
Nymphaion looks very similar to the monumental fountain in Side. It is able to judge that this nymphaion is a monument of the 2nd or 3th century looking at the way it was built.
