In Perge city there were many baths and one of them is located next to the southern gate and to the west of the Septimus Severus forum.
A propylon ( monumental gate which located at the entrance of a building or a group of buildings ) provides entry to the baths’ palaestra.
Propylon has eight columns and interesting decorations and also is built on a marble platform. Baths in Perge has the same sections and rooms of the classical Roman baths with wide windows.
There are marble pools, Calderium, Frigidarium, Tepiderium etc. In these baths some statues have been found and all they are today exhibited in the museum.
Another baths located near the western gate in Perge. It dates back to 3rd century AD. It has 5 sections and wide courtyard.
