Raki is famous as Turkish national drink. It is alcohol beverage which made from grapes and raisins, is strongly aromatized with lots of anise. This clear brandy has % 40 - % 45 alcohols. It turns into milky white when mixed with ice or water.
Raki can be drunk with water, soda, mineral water or straight with flat cylindrical glasses. It is similar to Greek Ouzo or French Pastis.
More commonly it goes with cold hors d’oeuvres and should be 8-10 degree cold. Turks call it as lion’s milk.
