Iskender kebab is one of the most famous meat foods in Turkey. It is especially famous in Bursa because its inventor Iskender Efendi lived in Bursa in the late 19th century.
It is made from thinly cut grilled lamb or beef.
The pide (pita) breads cut into little pieces, the meet take place on them which basted with tomato sauce, melted butter and finally yoghurt added. It is served with grilled tomato and green paper.
